John Mayer to Announce Born & Raised Tour 2013 During Google+ Hangout Next Week

Looks like John Mayer's voice is all better -- enough that he's ready to hit the road. The singer is expected to announce details of a tour in support of his 2012 album Born & Raised next Thursday during a Google+ hangout sponsored by Billboard magazine.
During the global online event, broadcast live from John's L.A. studio, the singer and guitarist will announce the tour, answer questions from fans and give a live performance to boot. You can be part of the event by going to Billboard.com and registering: a few lucky fans will be selected to be part of the "Hangout Panel" and ask John questions. Just make sure they're not all about girlfriend Katy Perry.
You'll be able to access the event at Billboard.com/JohnMayerHangout Thursday starting at 8 p.m. ET; it'll also be streamed at John's YouTube channel, MayerMusic.
Last year, John was forced to cancel his entire tour due to vocal issues, which required surgery.
