(LINCOLN COUNTY, Washington) -- A Navy plane crashed in eastern Washington State Monday morning, killing all three people on board.
The EA/6B Prowler was on a routine training mission when it went down.
Joel Cronrath, a farmer in Lincoln County, heard the aircraft crash. “I could hear a rumbling and just a big kaboom,” he said.
“It shook the shop and I looked to the west and there's this great big smoke ring rising from the ground,” Cronrath added.
“You could see big parts of the engine sitting there in the field and there's just debris scattered all over out there," he said.
There are no further details, but the Navy has launched an investigation into the crash.
